Draw out the design or layout of the kitchen cabinets on the walls as the first step when you want to install the cabinets. You have to do it first before taking the cabinets out of their boxes. Draw out the design is important in order to make sure that all of the cabinets will be going to fit in the space which has been provided. If you ensure that you have had all of the cabinets for your design and the cabinets will be going to fit your layout, then you may take the cabinets out of the boxes. When you purchase the kitchen cabinets, you have to make sure that those cabinets are correct. You should line up the faces of the adjoining cabinets, and after that starting at the bottom of the cabinets. Next, you should drill an 11/64” countersunk hole into the adjoining face frame and must use a two and a half inch cabinet screw so you can fasten the two cabinet face frames together. Take at least three of the screws and install them into the face frames. You have to make sure that the faces are flush with each other.

The straightness of the wall is another thing that you should think about when installing kitchen cabinets. You should shim accordingly in order to get the cabinet in a straight line if your wall has a hump or a dip in it when you proceed down the run of the cabinets. It will be difficult to install the kitchen cabinets if they are not straight with each other.
